Statewide, 238 Michigan residents have graduated from the first 2024 cohort of the Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan’s Business Management course. This 12-week course taught students business and leadership skills that will help them establish a lifelong career and become leaders in Michigan’s hospitality industry.

The Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan has added Port Huron as a location for its Hospitality Business Management courses. We appreciate these employees everyday, but this week they deserve a special shoutout. February 5-9 is Pride in Food Service Week, initiated by the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals. This observance was created to acknowledge and show appreciation to all of those in the food service industry. Hospitality workers have proven themselves to be resilient as the industry faced challenges during the pandemic and continues to evolve to meet the needs of Michiganders. |
