Why did you want be an instructor for the HTIM business management course?
I worked at McDonald’s for 15 years as one of my first jobs.  I was very active in developing and promoting managers during that time.  I am passionate about the industry.
 
How will this course help individuals step up in their career?
This will provide the tools and resources necessary to move you toward becoming a great leader.  
 
What advice do you have for others in the hospitality industry who are looking for ways to grow in their career?
My biggest piece of advice is to treat people with respect and kindness. No one succeeds alone, no one fails alone. Be consistent and remain learning based.
 
How long have you been working in the industry?  
I had been in the industry for 15 years, and now I have clients that work in hospitality that I provide leadership development and coaching to.
 
Can you share more background on your current role?
I customize programs through my business Lisa Fisher Associates that focus on leadership development and productivity coaching to teams and individuals in a variety of industries.

What was your first job in hospitality? How did you get into this industry?
I worked at McDonalds as a cashier when I was a teenager.

My husband and I enjoy off-roading in our jeeps.
