The HTIM Program has been a great steppingstone for our hourly employees who are interested in growing in the industry into supervisor or management positions.

Ford’s Garage is your go-to neighborhood burger and brew joint. We serve up mouthwatering All-American favorites with a vintage vibe on the side. From our famous Black Angus burgers and craft beers, to our one-of-a-kind 1920’s service station inspired dining room featuring classic Ford vehicles and memorabilia – here, great food and good times just keep on rolling.

Yes! We have sent 15+ employees to HTIM! 
 
How does your business benefit from employees completing the course?
Having employees complete the HTIM course has benefitted the business by getting more employees involved in some areas of the business they may not have been involved in before. They have been able to assist the management and leadership team in working towards a common goal and learned how to operate as leaders in the building!
 
What advice do you have for others in the hospitality industry who are looking for ways to step up in their career?
Take advantage of the resources available to you! The HTIM program is a small step up you can take in your career which has the possibility of showing off other areas of the Hospitality Industry that may assist you in your growth. 
 
What advice do you have for other hospitality businesses who want to help employees improve their skills?
Internal training helps them understand what your expectations are from an operations standpoint but providing your team with external training will help them learn things you may not be able to teach them. Hearing from another leader in the industry may help them understand the goals of your business and how they can help you succeed. Investing in your own team can help take your business to the next level!
