How will this help you step up in your career?
Applying and sharing knowledge with my coworkers enabled me to discuss the root cause of day-to-day situations. What advice do you have for others in the hospitality industry who are looking for ways to grow their career? Keep working hard and be consistent with their energy. Look to get involved with prestigious organizations like HTIM and have great contracts to secure future opportunities. What was your favorite part of the HTIM business management course? Meeting amazing professionals and seeing different perspectives while discussing common scenarios in the hospitality field. How long have you been working in the industry? 31 years. Can you share more background on your current role? I oversee North Campus in the University of Michigan where I manage retail operations to bring new food trends and ideas to make student life nutritiously delicious. What was your first job in hospitality? How did you get into this industry? Serving at the presidential conference in the hotel. Hotel needed educated professionals only to serve this conference and since then I fell in love with hospitality. Interesting and fun fact: I love to travel to explore unheard food. Last year, I traveled Asia just to explore new street food. Comments are closed.
