I have been working in the industry since 2017. Can you share more background on your current role? I have been working at Border Cantina for four years now. We are a family-owned restaurant that’s operated for more than 30 years in the area. I started as server, then moved up to bartending, now I manage the FOH and the bar. I am responsible for hiring new employees, creating drink specials, working with liquor reps to create events and drinks for our guests, and much more! I love the customers, ownership and my co-workers. What was your first job in hospitality? How did you get into this industry? My first job in was at Indo in Keego Harbor.
