Why did you want to enroll in the HTIM financial course?
I enrolled in the course because I wanted to expand my knowledge on the financial side of the lodging industry.

How will this help you step up in your career?
This will help me expand in my career by allowing me to set the appropriate rates for the resort as well as gain experience on how financing is done.
 
What advice do you have for others in the hospitality industry who are looking for ways to grow their career?
My advice would be don’t be afraid of change or be scared to take a leap to advance your career you never know what could come of it. 
 
What was your favorite part of the HTIM financial course?
My favorite part of the program were the videos that helped explain every segment in detail that way you could always go back to rewatch something if needed.
 
How long have you been working in the industry?
I have been in the hospitality industry for over two years now. 
 
Can you share more background on your current role? 
My current role allows me to not only manage the front office but be the front desk manager as well. I can work with different booking channels and set availability on rooms and room rates. I deal with customers and clients daily. The hospitality world is always evolving, and I get to be on the front lines of it which allows me to gain valuable knowledge and experience. 
 
Anything else you’d like to share?
My last piece of advice would be: take the class. Because even if you think you know everything, this class definitely helps you see that you don’t.
