Why did you want to enroll in the HTIM financial course?
 I wanted to learn more about the supervisor role that I could utilize in my everyday work at my hotel. 

How will this help you step up in your career?
I was able to learn more with conflict, how to address my peers and coworkers but also just better problem solve. Also added more to my resume to help showcase my skills 
 
What advice do you have for others in the hospitality industry who are looking for ways to grow their career?
I think that classes like this will help them! Plus, it was fun and I loved hearing everyone different experiences!
 
What was your favorite part of the HTIM financial course?
I just loved it all!! I loved that I was able to follow along on my own so that I could re-read anything and take my own notes to follow along. 
 
How long have you been working in the industry?
12 years!
 
Can you share more background on your current role?
I am the assistant general manager and I help with guest communication and service as well as ordering etc. I also assist with training and hiring. 
 
What was your first job in hospitality? How did you get into this industry?
My first job was night audit, so I worked third shift. I was in retail at the same time and I just wanted to get my foot in the door elsewhere because there are hotels everywhere!
 
Interesting & fun fact: 
I love tacos and pasta! I also love to travel and my goal has always been to go to all 50 states and hopefully around the world at some point! I also love to knit in my spare time and play video games. ​
