The State of Michigan has several programs available to support your efforts to enhance your skills. You can learn about these programs using the links below or talk with your local Michigan Works Office.
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) offers a variety of federal grants to students attending four-year colleges or universities, community colleges, and career schools. Check out the grant programs for more details and to learn how to apply:
- A Trade & Career School as approved by the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity.
- A comprehensive training and certification program for career advancement in the hospitality industry.
- 12 weeks, graduates will develop the skills and knowledge required to advance their hospitality management & leadership careers.
- Every student who completes a program from the Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan will leave with the confidence and skills needed to excel in the selected industry pathway.
